Your whole workspace.
In one browser tab.
uOS is a real desktop that opens in a tab. Chat, mail, files, documents, spreadsheets, boards, calendar and AI — fifteen applications sharing one file system and one identity, on any device, with nothing to install. Your messages, files and documents are end-to-end encrypted in your browser. Built and run in the European Union, and free forever for individuals and families.
A day's work, all in one window.
Sign in and your desktop is there — the same one, on your laptop, your phone, a borrowed machine. Nothing to install, nothing left behind when you close the tab.
Talk to your people
Message one-to-one or in groups, send voice notes and files, and jump into a video call — with automatic translation across 26 languages when you need it.
Chat and calls →Handle your mail
A real inbox with folders, attachments, replies and search — plus contacts and a calendar that share the same address book, so scheduling never leaves the workspace.
Mail and calendar →Keep your files
Folders, drag-and-drop upload, previews and sharing with read, write or admin rights per file — synced across every device you sign in on.
Files and storage →Write and calculate
Documents and spreadsheets with real-time co-editing — you see who else is in the file, formulas work, and .xlsx files import and export cleanly.
Documents and sheets →Run your projects
Kanban boards with cards, checklists, assignees and due dates, quick notes for anything you need to capture, and a task list that keeps the rest straight.
Boards, notes and tasks →Put AI to work
An assistant that reads your documents and helps you write, and a builder that turns a plain-language description into a working internal tool — no server to set up.
AI and Studio →Not a bundle of tabs. One machine.
Every application below is a real window in the same desktop, sharing one file system, one contact list and one identity. Pick any of them to watch it run.
Three properties you will not find together anywhere else.
Each is a property of how the system is built, not a marketing claim.
Built and operated in Europe
Infrastructure hosted in the European Union. GDPR-compliant by architecture. Source code, deployment, support — all European.
Why this matters
European infrastructure means the US CLOUD Act does not apply. No extraterritorial access to your data, ever.
No US CLOUD Act · No extraterritorial jurisdiction
Zero cookies, zero tracking
No cookies. No trackers. No data resale. The server only stores public keys and encrypted blobs — it cannot read your content.
Why this matters
Without third-party scripts, there is no supply-chain attack vector. No third party can profile your reading.
Server stores ciphertext only
Your AI, your model
Embedded AI uses the provider you choose: in-house model, private cloud deployment, or commercial API on your own key.
Why this matters
Your prompts and conversations are not used to train commercial models. AI inference stays private to your account.
No imposed provider, ever
How we protect your data.
If you are not an engineer, here is the idea: there are computers — quantum computers — that one day will be able to decrypt what is encrypted today. UltimaOS already uses the new generation of cryptography, NIST-standardized, designed to resist these quantum computers. This is the architectural choice, not a feature you can toggle off.
For engineers — the cryptographic stack EXPAND ↓
| Layer | Algorithm | Standard |
|---|---|---|
| Signatures | ML-DSA-65 | FIPS 204 |
| Key encapsulation | ML-KEM-768 | FIPS 203 |
| Symmetric encryption | XChaCha20-Poly1305 | RFC 8439 |
| Key derivation | HKDF-SHA256 | RFC 5869 |
Zero RSA · Zero elliptic-curve · 100% post-quantum

Questions about the post-quantum encrypted workspace.
What is a post-quantum encrypted workspace?
Short answer
A workspace whose cryptography resists attacks by future quantum computers. UltimaOS uses the NIST-standardized post-quantum algorithms ML-DSA-65 (FIPS 204) for digital signatures and ML-KEM-768 (FIPS 203) for key exchange, layered with classical XChaCha20-Poly1305 symmetric encryption. Private keys never leave your device.
Is UltimaOS GDPR compliant?
Short answer
Yes. Infrastructure is hosted in the European Union, our company is established in the EU, and the architecture is GDPR-compliant by design — we cannot read your data, we do not run advertising, and we set zero cookies. See the security page for details.
Which applications does UltimaOS include?
Short answer
Fifteen applications today: Account, Contacts, uMeet, uFiles, uChat, uTodo, uStudio, uAI, uDoc, uSheet, Calendar, uBoards, uMail, uNotes, uLine — with uMarket and others on the roadmap. Chat, mail, files, notes, tasks, documents, spreadsheets and private boards are end-to-end encrypted in your browser; calendar events, AI conversation history and Studio app source are readable server-side today, and each application page says which applies.
Can UltimaOS be used for business?
Yes. uOS for Business offers European organizations a zero-knowledge workspace for their teams. Invite-bound membership, signed audit logs, bring-your-own-AI, managed single-tenant deployment, and EU-only data residency.
What makes UltimaOS different from Signal or Proton?
UltimaOS is a full operating system — chat, mail, files, documents, boards, calendar, contacts — running in your browser with a single private key working across every app. It is post-quantum end-to-end, across every operation, with no fallback to classical primitives. And it is built and operated in the European Union under EU privacy law.
How does post-quantum cryptography protect me today?
A "store now, decrypt later" attack records encrypted traffic today and decrypts it once a sufficiently powerful quantum computer is available. Post-quantum algorithms defeat that attack vector. UltimaOS keys are rotated frequently, so even a quantum breach would yield only a narrow slice of historical data.
Where can I learn more about the cryptographic choices?
Our engineering pages document the exact cryptographic stack, with references to NIST FIPS 203, FIPS 204, and the relevant IETF RFCs. Those algorithms are public standards you can verify independently. The client ships to your browser as a standard single-page app, so the code that runs can be inspected directly in developer tools — inspectable today, with signed reproducible builds on the roadmap to make it mechanically verifiable. The backend is proprietary; you can query its behaviour from inside uOS, where uAI answers questions about how it works.
How can I try UltimaOS?
Access is free during the early access phase, invite-only. Request an invite and the team will respond within a few days. Organizations can request direct access for an extended pilot.
