A bundle of cloud apps, or an operating system? They are not the same category.
Google Workspace is a bundle of separate cloud applications — Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Calendar — connected by a single login and run on US infrastructure. UltimaOS uses NIST post-quantum algorithms (ML-KEM-768 and ML-DSA-65) at the OS layer today, protecting against harvest-now-decrypt-later. A cloud app bundle secures each product on its own timeline, not the environment as a whole.
Google's core business is built around data and advertising. UltimaOS has no advertising model and cannot profile what it cannot read — there is no commercial incentive, and no technical ability, to mine your workspace.
Mail, documents, spreadsheets, calendar, contacts, files and chat are all present in UltimaOS — the everyday tools are there, native to the operating system rather than bolted together.
