UltimaOS for Builders

Encrypted client comms, file vault, and AI that doesn't train on your work.

UltimaOS for builders is the workspace where freelancers, indie hackers and small studios keep client communications and source trees end-to-end encrypted. No third party sees your IP, your pricing or your roadmap. AI conversations are the exception: their history is readable server-side today.

01 Overview

What this looks like for a builder.

01

Encrypted client comms

Mail and chat with clients, end-to-end encrypted. No third party sees your IP, your pricing, your roadmap. No training of advertising models on your conversations.

02

Encrypted file vault

Source trees, design assets, client deliverables — encrypted at rest, synced across your devices, never profiled. Restrict access by client, project, or file.

03

AI without surveillance

Use the AI assistant for code reviews, copy, research — without training the model on your work. Bring your own API key for any OpenAI-compatible endpoint, or use a self-hosted model.

02 Details

How builders work on UltimaOS.

A solo builder's workspace or a small studio's shared space, configured for the realities of client work and IP protection. Bring your own AI key, deploy client apps, keep your pipeline private.

01

Studio app development

Use Studio to describe a client app in plain English. The AI agent writes code, tests it in a sandbox iframe, and installs it in your workspace. You keep the IP: UltimaOS claims no rights over what you generate. A marketplace for publishing to other users is on the roadmap.

02

Per-client channels

Create an encrypted channel per client. Files, discussions, deliverables — all in one place, encrypted, with the client as an invited member who sees only what they should.

03

Bring-your-own AI

Connect your OpenAI, Anthropic, Mistral, or self-hosted model endpoint. Your API key stays on your device. Note that AI conversation history is not end-to-end encrypted today — it is readable server-side — and the provider you choose processes the context in plaintext at inference time.

04

Code reviews without leaks

Paste code into the AI assistant for review. The assistant returns suggestions, never sees your repo unless you explicitly share, never trains on your code. Every conversation is encrypted at rest.

03 Key points

Why builders choose UltimaOS.

  1. 01

No model training on your work

OpenAI, Anthropic, and similar providers may use API inputs for model training unless you opt out. UltimaOS's zero-knowledge architecture means no third party — including UltimaOS — sees your prompts outside of inference.

  2. 02

    IP you actually own

Apps you build in Studio are yours: UltimaOS claims no IP over generated code, and Studio exposes the source. Installing them in your own workspace works today; a marketplace for publishing to other users is on the roadmap.

  3. 03

    EU data residency

All AI inference runs on EU infrastructure by default. Code, prompts, and file contents stay in EU data centers. The US CLOUD Act does not apply.

  4. 04

    Solo-friendly pricing

During early access, free for individual builders. After early access, per-seat for the workspace plus an optional revenue share if you publish paid apps on the marketplace.

05 Frequently asked

Questions about UltimaOS for builders.

Can I use my own AI API key?

Short answer

Yes. UltimaOS lets you bring your own model — any OpenAI-compatible endpoint, Anthropic, Mistral, or your own self-hosted model. Your API key never leaves your device.

Is Studio really a no-code builder?

Short answer

Yes. Describe your app in plain English and the AI agent in Studio writes the code, tests it in a sandbox iframe, and installs it in your workspace. You can edit the generated code on the Code tab if you want, but it is not required. A marketplace for publishing to other users is on the roadmap.

Can I self-host my client deliverables?

Short answer

Yes — you can deploy client apps to your own infrastructure, or publish them on the UltimaOS Marketplace. Either way, the generated app runs encrypted end-to-end.

Do I keep IP on what I build in Studio?

Short answer

Yes. Apps you build in Studio are yours. We do not claim any IP on them. The Marketplace lets you license them however you want; the default is open publication so other UltimaOS users can install them.

How is pricing for builders?

Short answer

During early access, free for individual builders. After early access, per-seat for the workspace plus an optional revenue share if you publish paid apps on the Marketplace.

Can I import code from GitHub?

Short answer

Yes. Files in UltimaOS can be populated from any Git repository. Bidirectional sync is on the roadmap for a later release.

Does the AI assistant see my private code?

Short answer

The AI assistant sees only what you paste into the prompt, or files you explicitly share with it. Code at rest in your workspace is encrypted and the AI does not have a key.

Can I publish paid apps on the marketplace?

Short answer

Yes. Apps built in Studio can be published on the marketplace with the license terms you choose. UltimaOS takes an optional revenue share on paid apps; free apps have no fee.
